Dear Readers,
As promised, I’ve migrated my email newsletter over to Substack. I am intrigued by this new way of reaching writers and readers. Here, on Substack you can leave a comment or “like” posts and you can also read them in the app which I’ve found convenient for the Substack contributors that I read.
What will I be writing about? As my title indicates, all things writing and publishing. To get more specific, I’ve just finished the first draft of a prequel to The Castle in the Attic so you will be hearing more about that in the coming months as well as the interesting responses to my memoir, Daughter of Spies as well as my thoughts on how publishing has changed since I started as an editor decades ago. I’m not sure where my wandering writer’s mind will take me, but I do appreciate you coming along for the ride. I expect to post new material monthly and as always, you can unsubscribe at any time.
Thank you for continuing to read my work in all its forms... newsletters, memoir, fiction, picture books and short stories. Without all of you, I’d be whistling in the wind.
Migrating to Substack
I love the move to Substack. This made me laugh out loud: "Without all of you, I’d be whistling in the wind."
I'll follow you to whatever social media end up at. =o) I am thrilled that you are adding to the Castle series! I love even more that your granddaughters got to experience helping you create this. So lovely!
